Brainteaser!
After heaven, the earth, the grass, and all the animals were created, the snake, who was very smart, decided to make its own contribution.
It decided to lie every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. For the other days of the week, it told the truth.
"Eve, dear Eve, why don't you try an apple?" the snake suggested.
"But I am not allowed to!"said Eve.
"Oh, no!" said the snake. "You can eat it today since it is Saturday and God is resting."
"No, not today," said Eve, "Maybe tomorrow."
"Tomorrow is Wednesday and it will be too late," insisted the snake.
This is how the snake tricked Eve.
What day of the week did this conversation take place?

Life is Beyond Short!
So, I was just thinking today about life. Life is so short, and yet there are so many moments throughout life we waste our time getting upset at someone or something. I bet if you really began to think about how short life is in the middle of those times, you would think, 'What am I doing wasting my time getting angry or mad.'
I don't know about you, but I don't want to live my life as a negative person, I don't want to be the one person who is always mad, or never happy. I want to live my life to fullest. I will take risks, and I hope to look back and say, "Wow, I've had a great life."
If you think about the fact that the average life span in the U.S. is 77 - 80 years old, and that on top of the you never know if in five minutes God is going to come. So, either way, life is going to be pretty short. Although if God came I guess it wouldn't really matter. It would probably be the last thing you were thinking about, but still...
Are you truly happy?
Is there anything you would change?
What if tomorrow never comes, would you be able to look back right now and think to yourself, that you've lived a good life? I hope so.
If not, I would say now is the time to think, how can I make my life that much better?
Just a random thought. I didn't mean to get all deep on everyone. lol

Thank You God...
So today I went in an old e-mail of mine and was reading some of my saved messages. I came across a forward that a friend had sent to me, and it got me thinking... So many of us get so caught up in our daily lives and forget that if it weren't for God himself, we wouldn't have even been blessed with this day. How many of us really take the time everyday to stop and thank God for the day he has given us. It was never promised to us. I know that a lot of times we are not doing it intentionally, but really I think it should be the first thing we think to do when we get up in the morning. I think this is something we are all guilty of one time or another, including me. Anyway, here is the e-mail that I received back in January of 2006.
Dear Lord,
I thank You for this day. I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you. I ask now for Your forgiveness. Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You. Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things. Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over. And It's the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits. I know that when I can't pray, You listen to my heart. Continue to use me to do Your will. Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me strong that I may help the weak... Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others. I pray for those that are lost and can't find their way. I pray for those that are misjudged and misunderstood. I pray for those who don't know You intimately. I pray for those that don't believe. But I thank you that I believe. I believe that God changes people and God changes things. I pray for all my sisters and brothers. For each and every family member in their households. I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes that all their needs are met. I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than you. Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight. I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees it. Amen.
